UP TGT PGT Exam Date 2024, Exam Time, Date, and Schedule

The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) is set to conduct the UP TGT PGT Exam between December 2024 and January 2025. The Uttar Pradesh Government is in the process of collecting exam centre details from district authorities for the upcoming UP TGT PGT Exam 2024. The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) will conduct the UP TGT PGT 2024 Exam to fill 4,163 vacancies. Scheduled between December 2024 and January 2025, the recruitment includes TGT positions (Advt No. 01/2022) and PGT positions (Advt No. 02/2022). The selection process consists of a written examination followed by an interview. Exact exam dates for both TGT and PGT posts will be announced shortly. The UP TGT PGT recruitment 2024 offers a total of 4,163 vacancies distributed across various categories for both male and female candidates. For the UP TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) posts, there are 3,213 vacancies for males and 326 for females, making a combined total of 3,539 positions. UP TGT PGT Selection Process

The UP TGT PGT Recruitment selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written exam which will be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board. UPSESSB is going to hold the PGT TGT examination soon.

UP TGT PGT Exam Pattern 2024

For the UP TGT and PGT posts, the exam details are as follows: Both exams consist of 125 questions each. The duration for each exam is 2 hours. The total marks for the UP TGT exam is 500, with each question carrying 4 marks. For the UP PGT exam, the total marks are 425, with each question carrying 3.4 marks. There is no negative marking in either exam.

UP TGT PGT Marks Distribution

The selection process and exam weightage of UP TGT PGT Exam recruitment has been given below post-wise. The marks distribution and exam weightage for the UP TGT PGT recruitment are outlined as follows: For the UP PGT post, the written exam carries 425 marks, accounting for 85% of the total, the interview is worth 50 marks (10%), and special qualifications contribute 25 marks (5%). For the UP TGT post, the written exam is valued at 500 marks, representing 100% of the total score, with no marks allocated for the interview or special qualifications. The overall total for both posts is 500 marks, with each post carrying 100% weightage.
