Uttar Pradesh TGT, PGT Exam Schedule 2025

UP TGT PGT Vacancy 2025

The UP TGT PGT Vacancy 2025 has been announced, with a total of 4,163 vacancies for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts. There are 3,213 vacancies for TGT Male and 326 for TGT Female. For PGT posts, 549 vacancies are for PGT Male, while 75 are for PGT Female. UP TGT PGT Eligibility Criteria

The UP TGT PGT Eligibility Criteria 2025 are set by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB). For the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) post, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed. For the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) post, candidates need a Master’s degree in the concerned subject along with a B.Ed. The minimum age limit for both posts is 21 years, and age relaxation is provided as per government norms.

UP TGT PGT Exam Pattern 2025

For the UP TGT and PGT posts, the exam details are as follows: Both exams consist of 125 questions each. The duration for each exam is 2 hours. The total mark for the UP TGT exam is 500, with each question carrying 4 marks. For the UP PGT exam, the total marks are 425, with each question carrying 3.4 marks. There is no negative marking in either exam.

UP TGT PGT Marks Distribution

The selection process and exam weightage of UP TGT PGT Exam recruitment have been given below post-wise. The marks distribution and exam weightage for the UP TGT PGT recruitment are outlined as follows: For the UP PGT post, the written exam carries 425 marks, accounting for 85% of the total, the interview is worth 50 marks (10%), and special qualifications contribute 25 marks (5%). For the UP TGT post, the written exam is valued at 500 marks, representing 100% of the total score, with no marks allocated for the interview or special qualifications. The overall total for both posts is 500 marks, with each post carrying 100% weightage.
