In UP TGT PGT Exam, two main steps are followed by the officials. The stages of the Selection Process include:

1.Written Exam-UP TGT PGT Exam MCQ-based questions will be asked and applicants will have to complete the exam in the stipulated time period. Every right answer will be rewarded with 4 marks. There is no negative marking in the exam.
2. Merit List-The merit list will be prepared based on the performance of a candidate in the written examination and the number of candidates who appear for the particular post.
