Meanwhile, Calcutta High Court has given the verdict of scrapping 36000 jobs given based on the WB TET 2014. These 36000 appointees have been disqualified as they did not meet the minimum required qualifications. 6500 candidates recruited as per the WB TET 2014 who did meet the qualifications required have been retained as per the verdict. 36000 WB TET 2014 Jobs Scrapped by Calcutta High Court

The Calcutta High Court has delivered the verdict for the Teacher recruitment based on the WB TET 2014 Result. At one go, Calcutta High Court scrapped the appointment of 36000 primary teachers as a crucial part of the cash-for-jobs scam. 

The Court observed that the entire primary teacher recruitment was illegally executed where recruitment rules were flouted and disregarded on a massive scale. Reservation norms were violated, Optical Marks Recognition (OMR) Sheets were tampered and fictional marks were given to the candidates in the non-existing aptitude test.

WB TET 2014 Document Verification

The WB TET 2014 Document Verification has been held on 18th November 2022 for the candidates who have cleared the WB TET 2014 as per the latest court verdict. The candidates must be present at the Acharya Prafulla Chandra Bhavan, Saltlake, Sector-II from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm with all the required documents. The WBBPE has released a notification to clarify the names appearing of the candidates in the WB TET  2014 Merit List are names of genuine and real people. This clarification comes after the ‘Board’ Has released that some names such as Mamata Banerjee, Amit Shah, Dilip Ghosh, Partha Chatterjee and others have appeared in the WB TET 2014 Merit List which happens to be alike and/or identical to certain political entities/ public functionaries.
