What is Super TET?

Super TET is a recruitment exam conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board. The main objective of the Super TET Exam is to recruit teachers at primary and secondary levels for the government schools of Uttar Pradesh. Eligible candidates who wish to become government teachers in Schools of Uttar Pradesh must clear the Super TET Exam. UPTET Qualified and CTET Qualified candidates are eligible for the Super TET Exam.

Super TET Exam is the most essential recruitment exam in Uttar Pradesh as huge vacancies are released by the board every year. It is expected that 17000+ vacancies for the post of Assistant Teachers. Uttar Pradesh candidates can easily apply for the Super TET Exam when it is announced by the board.

The candidates must have either passed Senior Secondary and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or passed Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or D.El.Ed/BTC from UP Government Institution or 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 4 Year BA/B.Sc. Ed or BA.Ed/B.Sc. Ed or Graduation with at least 50 % marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) to become eligible for the Super TET Exam. The candidate must fall in the age bracket of 21 to 40 years to be eligible for the post of Assistant Teacher.

The candidates preparing for the Super TET Exam will have to appear for a written test. They have to answer 150 questions in 150 minutes. These Questions will be Objective-Type multiple-choice questions. On the basis of the performance of the candidates in the written test, they will be called for an interview followed by document verification. Once the candidates have cleared all these stages successfully they will get their appointment letter.
