What is the Eligibility to Attempt the CTET Exam 2022?

CTET Paper-I Eligibility Criteria 2022

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education/4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.

OR

Candidates who possessed “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible for becoming Teachers for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such Candidates have to mandatory undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.

OR

Post-Graduation candidate with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

CTET Paper-II Eligibility Criteria 2022

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/B.Ed. (Special Education).

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

OR

Any candidate having a qualified B.Ed Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET.

OR

Post-Graduation candidate with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

Can B.Ed 1st year student apply for CTET 2022?

Having said that any candidate having a qualified B.Ed Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, Graduates with 45% marks can apply for CTET Exam 2022 if they passed or appearing in final year B.Ed degree Exam. Post-Graduation candidates with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. are also eligible for CTET Exam 2022.
