REET New Exam Pattern:
The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan has drastically changed the REET Exam Pattern 2022. The REET New Exam Pattern 2022 will have 150 questions, however, the total marks will be 300 marks. That means candidates will be awarded 2 marks for each correct answer. Moreover, the Board has introduced a negative marking scheme. Now, ⅓ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The duration of the REET exam 2022 will remain unchanged at 2 hours and 30 minutes.

REET New Exam Pattern: Marks Distribution
As the REET Exam Pattern and REET Syllabus has changed The Marks Distribution for REET question papers 2022 has also been changed completely. The Board has introduced a section on General Awareness, Current Affairs, and Information Techonology. Rest will be content based and pedagogical question from each school subjects.
REET Level-I Exam Pattern & Marks Distribution 2022 (NEW)
There will be a section on General Awareness and Current Affairs of 90 marks each. 10 marks each has been dedicated to content based questions of schools subjects- Hindi, English, Mathematics, General Science, and Social Studies respectively. 8 marks each has been dedicated to pedagogy (educational methodology) based questions of schools subjects- Hindi, English, Mathematics, General Science, and Social Studies respectively. 20 marks on Educational Psychology and 10 marks on Information Technology has been assigned.

70 marks has been allocated to General Awareness and 60 marks for Current Affairs. The subject concerned has been given 120 marks. While Pedagogical Methodology, Educational Psychology, and Information Technology have been allotted with 20, 20, and 10 marks respectively.

As new sections have been included in the REET New Exam Pattern and Syllabus, candidates have to start preparing for the exam accordingly. Though, detailed information on the REET New Syllabus is yet to be provided by the Board, candidates should start preparing for the exam brushing up their general knowledge history, geography, and culture of Rajasthan. They should keep a tab of the current affairs mostly based on Rajasthan. They have to read about the Educational Policies implemented in the state of Rajasthan. Another new subject added in the REET New Exam Pattern 2022 is Information Technology. Thus, candidates should prepare for this subject asap.
