- The 8th India International Science Festival (IISF) is being held at the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, on January 21, 2023.
- The 8th India International Science Festival (IISF) Is a 4 Day Festival(will continue till the 24th of January) in which eminent personalities like PM Modi Ji and CM Shivraj Singh Ji will deliver lecture.
Who Are The Organizers?
- The 8th IISF festival is being organised under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Biotechnology, Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, CSIR, Department of Space, Atomic Energy and Vigyan Bharati.

- India International Science Festival (IISF) is an initiative of Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Earth Science of Government of India in association with Vijnana Bharati which is a science movement with Swadeshi spirit lead by eminent scientists of the country.
- The main purpose of IISF is the celebration of science by all. Engagement of common people with science in a joyful and entertaining manner is essential for the healthy, prosperous and meaningful life.

Who Will Participate In The 8th IISF?
- More than 8,000 delegates from different regions of the country will participate in the science festival being held for the first time in Bhopal.
- Eminent scientists, researchers, students from universities, colleges and schools, teachers and industry experts will participate in the festival.
- More than 2,500 school students from across India have been invited to attend the festival.
- Additionally, the festival will feature Biotech and Agri-tech start-ups. Also, smart and knowledge toys made by local artisans at IISF will also be on display.

- Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) was previously known as the ‘Swadeshi Science Movement’ before it was changed to its current name in 1991.
- Vijnana Bharati Headquarter: Vijnana Bharati headquarters is located in New Delhi.
