BPSC 70TH Paper Cancelled at Bapu Center, Now scheduled for 4 Jan

The BPSC 70th CCE 2024 prelims were held on 13 December 2024, from 12 pm to 2 pm at different centers across Bihar. At Bapu Examination Center, students protested, claiming the question paper was leaked. Initially, BPSC denied these claims, but to ensure fairness, the Commission decided to cancel the exam at the Bapu center after taking strict measures. And finally the New Exam date is announced for Bapu Examination Center, which is scheduled for 4 January 2025.

Investigation at Bapu Exam Center

The exam was peaceful at 911 out of 912 centers, but some attempts were made to disturb the recruitment process. Based on reports from the center superintendent and district administration, the exam at Bapu Center has been canceled. The commission’s IT cell and a special agency are investigating the incident. The SSP has formed two teams to find and take action against those responsible, with approx. 30 people identified for questioning.

70th BPSC Prelims Exam Cancelled at Bapu Examination Center

On 13.12.2024, the Bihar Public Service Commission conducted the Integrated 70th Combined Competitive Examination at Bapu Examination Complex, Patna. During the exam, some candidates caused a disturbance and attempted to disrupt the process. The Commission requested a report from the District Magistrate, Patna, who submitted it on 15.12.2024. An important meeting will be held on 19.12.2024 to discuss and decide on the matter.

BPSC 70th Prelims New Exam Date for Bapu Examination Center

A meeting of the Full Bench of the Commission was held on 19.12.2024 to discuss the re-examination of the cancelled Integrated 70th Combined Competitive Examination, which was originally scheduled for 13.12.2024 at Bapu Examination Complex, Patna. To ensure the candidates’ interests, the Commission has decided to conduct the re-examination as soon as possible.

The re-examination will be held on 04.01.2025 (Saturday) at Bapu Examination Complex. Further details about the re-examination will be published on the Commission’s website soon.
