BPSC Judiciary Prelims
The 1 phase of the Bihar Judiciary exam is the preliminary examination. It consists of two different papers with multiple-choice questions.
- Paper I consist of 100 marks and Paper II is of 150 marks.
- The cutoff percentage as decided by the commission to move ahead for the mains stage is 45% for the unreserved and 40% for the reserved category.
- The final cutoff is decided by the commission according to the number of students who appeared and how many scored the highest.
BPSC Judiciary Mains
Bihar Public Service Commission conducts mains as a descriptive subjective type exam. Majorly 7 papers make up the main stage of the Bihar Judiciary Exam.
- Out of seven papers, four are compulsory and three are optional. Compulsory papers consist of General Knowledge and Laws with 150 marks, General Science, General Hindi, and General English each with 100 marks.
- According to BPSC JSE minimum of five optional subjects are provided and candidates have to opt out of any three.
- The five optional papers, Constitutional and Administrative Law of India, Hindi Law & Muhammadan Law, Law of Transfer of Property and Principles of Equity, Law of Trusts and Specific Relief and Law of Contracts & Torts, and Commercial Law hold 150 marks each.
- All seven different papers make the main stage total of 1050 marks.
