How Many Cabinet Ministers are there in India?

On July 7, 2021, the Indian President reorganized the portfolio distribution within the Council of Ministers based on the Prime Minister’s advice. There can be no more than 81 members in the Council of Ministers because the 17th Lok Sabha currently has 543 members.
