Candidates can apply for PPSC 2025 who have not passed the Punjabi language

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has released the notice that the candidates who have not passed the Punjabi language exam in their matriculation but plan to appear in the examination can select “Yes” in the “Passed the Punjabi Language” section when filling out their online application form for the PPSC examination. However, the candidate’s eligibility will depend upon passing the Punjabi exam by the date before the PPSC CCE Prelims examination which will be conducted in April 2025.

This notice is about the recruitment for 322 posts through the Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination (PCS CCE) 2025. Candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree or Graduation from a UGC-approved or well-recognized university. To appear in the Preliminary Exam, candidates must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a subject or an equivalent exam in Punjabi. Eligibility criteria for the Punjab PCS 2025:

The age limit for candidates is between 21 and 37 years (as of 1 January 2025), with a maximum of 6 attempts for General Category, 9 attempts for OBC, and unlimited attempts for SC/ST candidates.
