CGPSC Syllabus for Prelims Paper 2
The CGPSC Syllabus for Prelims Paper 2 evaluates candidates’ Aptitude abilities, decision-making and problem-solving skills, general mental ability, logical reasoning, and analytical ability.

The difficulty level is based on Class 10th standards. The syllabus also includes a basic understanding of Hindi and Chhattisgarhi, as questions may be in these languages without translation. Additionally, candidates will be tested on Hindi language comprehension through passages. The paper aims to assess language skills, quantitative aptitude, and logical thinking for state civil services in Chhattisgarh. The assessment of knowledge of Hindi and Chhattisgarhi Language will be conducted in Hindi and Chhattisgarhi Language only, without providing translation. Additionally, knowledge of Hindi Language at the Class 10 level is also part of the syllabus.
CGPSC Mains Syllabus 2024
The CGPSC Mains Exam 2024, conducted by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission, includes 7 papers. These papers contain descriptive questions that assess candidates’ thinking abilities, analytical skills, and deep understanding of subjects rather than just memory recall. The CGPSC Mains exam has 7 papers, each has 200 marks, with 3 hours to complete each. All papers, except the Language paper, can be answered in Hindi or English. In the Essay paper, candidates must write two essays: one on a national issue and the other on a topic related to Chhattisgarh. Candidates who pass the Mains exam will be called for an Interview and Personality Test, worth 150 marks. The test assesses the candidate’s awareness, analytical skills, critical thinking, judgment, leadership, and moral integrity.
