- Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the first All India Conference of Water Ministers of the country by shining the light on the unprecedented work done by India in areas of water security.

- About: 1st All India Annual State Ministers’ Conference on Water is being organized to bring together key policymakers for discussions on ways to harness water resources for sustainable development and human development.
- Theme: 1st All India Annual State Ministers’ Conference on Water theme is ‘Water Vision @ 2047’.
- Water Vision @ 2047 is an important dimension of the journey of Amrit Kaal for the next 25 years.
- Key Objectives: The objective of the 2-day conference is to-
- Gather inputs for India@2047 and 5P vision from the different water stakeholders of the states, water being a state subject, and
- Improve engagement and partnership with the states and
- Share the initiatives and schemes of the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
- Participation: Ministers of Water Resources from all states attended the 1st All India Annual State Ministers’ Conference on Water.

- About: Chyawanprash Special is a potent antioxidant paste, prepared through the synergistic blending of around 50 herbs and spices.
- Availability: This Chwanprash Special will now be available at all Jan Aushadhi Kendras across the country at reasonable price.
- Parent Scheme: Jan Aushadhi Chyawanprash Special was launched under the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP).

- With an objective of making quality generic medicines available at affordable prices to all, Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) was launched in 2008 by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India.
- Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI), the implementing agency of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) has successfully implemented the scheme across India.
- Currently, there are more than 9000 Janaushadhi Kendras have been opened in the country.
- The successful implementation of the scheme has already achieved 869.12 Crore sales in the current financial year, and it is aiming to reach the target of 1200 Crore in this financial year.
- At present, these 9000 Kendras ensures availability of more than 1759 medicines and 280 surgical devices including Suvidha Sanitary pads which are sold at Rs. 1/- per pad.
- Prices of the Jan Aushadhi medicines are generally 50%-90% less than that of branded medicines prices which are available in the open market.
- In all, during the past 8 years, total savings of approximately Rs. 18000 crores for the citizens have been possible due to this noble scheme.

- Eat Right Station Certification is granted by FSSAI to railway stations adhering to standard food storage and hygiene practices.
- The ‘Eat Right Station’ certification is awarded by FSSAI to railway stations that set benchmarks in providing safe and wholesome food to passengers.
- The station is awarded a certificate upon a conclusion of an FSSAI-empanelled third-party audit agency with ratings from 1 to 5.
- The 5-star rating indicates full compliance by the station to ensure safe and hygienic food is available to passengers.
- The certification is part of the ‘Eat Right India’ movement- a large-scale effort by FSSAI to transform the country’s food system to ensure safe, healthy and sustainable food for all Indians.
- Eat Right India adopts a judicious mix of regulatory, capacity building, collaborative, and empowerment approaches to ensure that our food is suitable both for the people and the planet.
- The other railway stations with Star certification include-
- Anand Vihar Terminal Railway Station (Delhi);
- Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Mumbai);
- Mumbai Central Railway Station, (Mumbai);

- Recently, the Union Cabinet, chaired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved National Green Hydrogen Mission.
National Green Hydrogen Mission
- About: National Green Hydrogen Mission 2023 was launched with the goal of developing a green hydrogen production capacity of at least five million metric tonnes (mmt) and an associated renewable energy capacity addition of about 125 gigawatts (GW) by 2030.
- Associated Ministry: National Green Hydrogen Mission will be implemented under overall supervision and guidance of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
- Funding: The initial outlay for the National Green Hydrogen Mission will be Rs.19,744 crore, including an outlay of-
- Rs.17,490 crore for the SIGHT programme,
- Rs.1,466 crore for pilot projects,
- Rs.400 crore for R&D, and
- Rs. 388 crore towards other Mission components.
