Recently, a comprehensive joint military exercise named ‘Ex KAVACH’ was conducted by the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) from February 23 to April 07, 2023.
The comprehensive joint military exercise ‘Ex KAVACH’ saw participation from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
Through ‘Exercise KAVACH,’ the Armed Forces demonstrated their readiness and capabilities to protect India’s maritime interests and ensure the safety of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Recently, the Union Home Minister launched the ‘Vibrant Villages Programme’ in Kibithoo, Arunachal Pradesh. Kibithoo is a border village in Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh.
The Vibrant Villages scheme will provide funds for development of essential infrastructure and creation of livelihood opportunities in 19 Districts and 46 Border blocks 4 states and 1 UT along the northern land border of the country.

The goal of the Vibrant Villages Program is to support the economic, social and cultural development of rural communities in 19 Districts and 46 Border blocks across 4 states and 1 UT along the northern land border of India.
In the first phase, the Vibrant Villages Program will be implemented in 663 villages.
The Vibrant Villages Program has been approved with a financial allocation of Rs. 4800 Crore.
Exercise KAVACH is a joint military exercise conducted by the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) of the Indian Armed Forces.
Exercise KAVACH was conducted from February 23, 2023, to April 07, 2023.
