A conference is scheduled to take place on April 17th and 18th, 2023 at Silver Oak, Indian Habitat Centre in New Delhi.

  • Mandate: The aim of the Global Conference on Compressed Biogas (CBG) is to inform the industry about the Government of India’s efforts in promoting the development of the Compressed Biogas Industry.
    • CBG Conference also aims to identify areas where policy modifications may be needed.
  • Venue: Global Conference on Compressed Biogas (CBG) 2023 is being organized at Silver Oak, Indian Habitat Centre in New Delhi.
  • Participation: The conference aims to attract over 200 participants, including CBG plant developers, LOI holders of CBG plant, contractors, prospective investors, consultants, policy makers, and representatives from central and state governments.
    • The CBG conference also aims to involve OMCs such as IOCL, HPCL, and GAIL.

IFGE- CBG Producers Forum supported by Ministry for Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India is organizing the two-day CBG Conference 2023.

  • The institutional partners for the Global Conference on Compressed Biogas are TERI, NAMA Facility, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and LCB Forum (Low Carbon Biofuel Forum) in Greece.
  • In addition, several organizations, including Indian Oil Corporation, Verbio India, Canara Bank, IndianOil Adani Ventures Limited – IAV Biogas, SBI Capital, SIDBI, Praj Industries, and Maschinenfabrik Bernard KRONE GmbH, are providing support for the conference.

  • Mandate: The primary objective of the Army Commanders’ Conference is to make important policy decisions that will guide the future of the Indian Army.
  • Venue: This year’s ACC will be conducted in a hybrid format, utilizing available technology for secure communication. This is the first time that the ACC will be conducted in the hybrid format.
    • On the first day of the conference, Army Commanders and other senior officials will meet virtually.
    • They will then travel to Delhi for the remaining physical meetings, which will require more detailed deliberations

During the first day of the conference, the agenda will cover various topics sponsored by Command Headquarters.

  • There will also be an update from the Commander-in-Chief of the Andaman and Nicobar Command, as well as sessions led by Principal Staff Officers of the Army Headquarters.
  • In addition, the forum will review progress made on activities identified as part of the ‘Year of Transformation-2023’ initiative.
