The Delhi High Court has rejected a plea seeking a stay on the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) decision to invite applications for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023. The court dismissed the application filed by some civil services aspirants who were also seeking the answer key for the preliminary examination conducted earlier this year.
Justice Chandra Dhari Singh of the Delhi High Court refused to grant a stay on the “Detailed Application Form-1” issued by the UPSC on July 10, 2023. The application was part of the petition filed by unsuccessful aspirants. The court stated, “Application dismissed,” according to news agency PTI.
The Union Public Service Commission declared the result of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE) on June 12, 2023. Candidates can access the UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2023 by visiting the official websites upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. The Commission provided a PDF file containing a detailed list of roll numbers of successful candidates who qualified for the UPSC IAS Mains exam 2023. A total of 14,624 candidates have been declared successful in the preliminary examination.
