Haryana Judiciary Exam Pattern 2025 For Prelims

The Haryana Civil Judge preliminary examination contains objective-type multiple-choice questions. The Selection Committee shall hold the preliminary examination based on which candidates not more than ten times the advertised posts shall be shortlisted in order of merit for appearing in the main written examination.

The Haryana PCS J preliminary exam has a total of 125 questions, and each one is worth four marks out of a possible total of 500. The marking scheme for the Haryana Civil Judge preliminary exam is as follows: each question is worth four marks, and a penalty of 0.8 marks for each incorrect answer. The candidate who does not secure a minimum of 150 marks (read 100 marks for all reserved category candidates) out of a total of 500 marks in the preliminary examination shall not be shortlisted for the main examination. Each phase of the written tests for the Haryana Judicial Service Mains exam lasts for three hours. The Mains Examination will be in the form of subjective written papers with questions of the descriptive, narrative, or essay variety. No candidate shall be credited with any marks in any written paper unless he obtains at least 33% marks in it. Every one of the written tests for the Mains is for three hours. According to the recently released notification by the Haryana government, the main written examination shall consist of six papers (five written and one viva-voce test).

The interview is the third phase of the Haryana Civil Judge 202 5exam. The Haryana Judiciary 2025 interview is worth a total of 200 marks. To be considered for recruitment as Haryana Civil Judges, candidates will need to obtain a score of at least 50% on the aggregate of the marks they obtained in the main written examination as well as the viva voce.

To be eligible for selection as Haryana Civil Judges, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Serviceman categories, but not dependents of ESM, must achieve an aggregate score of 45% or higher on both the main written examination and the viva-voce. Haryana Judiciary Interview Exam Pattern 2025

Appearance in viva voce is mandatory. To be eligible for stage three i.e. viva-voce, a candidate needs to achieve an aggregate score of at least 50% or higher in all of the written examinations of Haryana Civil Judge Mains. The interview is worth a total of 200 marks. Personal interviews, also known as viva voces, are conducted to evaluate the candidates based on their characteristics. The only language that will be used during the interview is English.

The candidate belonging to the categories of Scheduled Caste, Backward Classes, Physically
For Handicapped and Ex-Serviceman candidates only (but not dependents of ESM) the qualifying marks
shall be 45%. Provided that the number of candidates to be called for the viva-voce test in order of the marks obtained in the written examination shall not exceed three times the number of vacancies advertised.
