Paper I: English and English Essay
The purpose of this paper is to evaluate a candidate’s ability to read and understand significant discursive texts and to communicate their thoughts clearly and accurately in English. The pattern of questions will generally include:

HPSC HCS Exam Pattern 2024
The HPSC HCS Exam 2024 involves a two-stage selection process. The first stage is the Preliminary Exam, which includes objective questions on General Studies, covering both general and Haryana-specific topics, and a separate paper on the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT).
