India, France and UAE Maritime Partnership Exercise: The India, France, and UAE Maritime Partnership Exercise is a joint naval exercise conducted between the Indian, French, and UAE navies. It aims to strengthen trilateral cooperation and enhance maritime security and cooperation in the Gulf of Oman region. Recently, the first edition of India, France, and UAE Maritime Partnership Exercise commenced in the Gulf of Oman.

INS Tarkash and French Ship Surcouf both with integral helicopters, French Rafale aircraft and UAE Navy Maritime Patrol Aircraft are participating in the exercise.

  • Scheduled to take place over two days, the maritime exercise will encompass a wide range of naval operations in the Gulf of Oman.
  • These operations will include Surface Warfare, featuring tactical firing and drills for missile engagements against surface targets, as well as Helicopter Cross Deck Landing Operations, Advanced Air Defence Exercises, and Boarding operations.
  • Additionally, the exercise will facilitate the exchange of personnel to share best practices.
  • The primary objective of this inaugural exercise is to strengthen trilateral cooperation among the Indian, French, and UAE navies.
