5th International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (ICDRI): 5th ICDRI 2023 is an annual international conference and platform to continue building an engaged global community for disaster and climate resilient infrastructure. 5th International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (ICDRI) is also important for UPSC Prelims Exam and UPSC Mains Exam (GS Paper 3- Disaster Management).
Recently through a video message, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi delivered a speech at the 5th International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (ICDRI) 2023. The Prime Minister emphasized the significance of CDRI’s work and its relevance, particularly in light of the recent disasters such as the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, which were of significant scale and intensity.
International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (ICDRI) 2023 aims to bring together member nations, organizations, institutions, and stakeholders involved in infrastructure to enhance the worldwide dialogue on disaster and climate-resilient infrastructure.
The 5th ICDRI 2023 was organized under the theme of ‘Delivering Resilient and Inclusive Infrastructure’. The 2023 ICDRI will showcase proven practices and solutions that delve into the systems, practices, and finances required to provide resilient infrastructure to people and economies across various geographies, climate typologies, and infrastructure sectors.
