MPPSC Notification 2025 Out
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts the MPPSC State Service Exam 2025 for important positions like Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Commercial Tax Officer, District Registrar, Labor Officer, and more in state government departments. The MPPSC Prelims Exam will be held on 16th February 2025 (Sunday) at various centers across Madhya Pradesh. While applying online for the MPPSC Exam 2025, candidates must pay the mandatory MPPSC application fee. Note:
- Successful candidates in the Preliminary Exam will have to pay a separate application and exam fee for the State Service Main Exam by the specified date.
- Information under the Right to Information Act will only be provided after the final selection results are declared. Candidates may request to view their answer sheets after the declaration of the final results, but this will only be possible within the designated period before the destruction of answer sheets. However, photocopies of the answer sheets will not be provided.
- No additional payment should be made apart from the application, exam fees, and portal fee. If any kiosk operator asks for extra money, candidates can lodge a complaint by contacting MP Online at the following helpline numbers: 0755-6720210 and 0755-6720211.
- In the event of the advertisement being canceled, the application and exam fees will be refunded online, but the portal fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

MPPSC Eligibility Criteria 2025

MPPSC Exam Pattern 2025
The MPPSC State Services Exam pattern is mentioned in the MPPSC Notification 2025. The 2025 Prelims exam will be held offline with two papers: General Studies and Aptitude Test. - State Service Preliminary Examination (Objective Type, OMR-based) for the selection of candidates for the main examination.
- State Service Main Examination (Written Descriptive) for the selection of candidates for various services and posts.
- Interview and Personality Test.
MPPSC Selection Process 2025
The MPPSC Selection Process is to select eligible candidates for different positions or to fill announced vacancies. The MPPSC State Services Exam consists of three phases:
- Prelims Exam(Objective Type)
- Mains Exam (Subjective/Descriptive Type)
- Interview/Personality Test
Provisions for Merit List Preparation during Final Selection:
- Written exam + interview will be used for merit list preparation.
- Total marks will be the sum of written exam and interview marks.
- In case of a tie, the candidate with the higher marks in the written exam will be preferred.
In case of a tie in written exam marks, the older candidate will be preferred.
What After the MPPSC Preliminary Examination:
A provisional answer key prepared by the paper setter and moderator will be published on the Commission’s website www.mppsc.mp.gov.in.
- Objections to the provisional answer key can be submitted online within 5 days from the publication. After this period, no objections will be considered.
- A fee of ₹150 (Non-Refundable) will be charged per question for raising objections, and an additional ₹40 (Portal Fee) will be charged per session.
- If a question has been marked incorrectly in the provisional answer key and another option is correct, the answer key will be revised.
- In case of differences in the Hindi and English translations of a question, the Hindi translation will be considered valid.
- After considering all objections, the final answer key will be published on the Commission’s website, and no further objections will be accepted. The subject expert committee’s decision will be final.
- For questions removed by the committee, all candidates who appeared for the exam will be awarded equal marks. The final answer key will be used to evaluate candidates’ answers, and based on their marks in the preliminary exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the main exam

- Exam city centers will be assigned based on the candidate’s residential address.
- Madhya Pradesh residents must upload proof of their current address with the application form.
- City center allocation will follow this order:
1. First: District of the current address
2. Second: Division headquarters of the current address
3. Third: District of the permanent address
4. Division headquarters of the permanent address - Exam center allocation may differ due to capacity and administrative arrangements; no requests for center changes will be accepted.
- Candidates from other states must choose two options from Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, or Jabalpur, with allocation based on administrative convenience.
- Candidates should carefully select their exam city, as it cannot be changed after submission.

General Instructions related to MPPSC Notification 2025
- Candidates should carefully check their online application form. Error correction can be done online from January 8, 2025, to January 19, 2025, with a fee of ₹50 for each correction. Use M.P. Online authorized kiosks for corrections. No corrections are allowed for the candidate’s name.
- Errors in the preliminary exam application cannot be corrected at the main exam or interview stage, so fill out the application carefully. Correct any errors (except name) during the error correction period.
- If changing from a reserved to an unreserved category, pay the difference in the application fee plus the correction fee. No refunds for changing from an unreserved to a reserved category.
- The category, gender, date of birth, etc., filled out in the online application form are used for the exam result. No changes will be allowed after the error correction period ends. Requests for changes will not be entertained by the commission.
