National Youth Parliament Festival (NYPF) 2023
National Youth Parliament Festival: Youth Parliament festival is an important event that recognizes and spread awareness about the contributions of youth in various sectors in India. National Youth Parliament Festival 2023 is also important for UPSC Prelims Exam 2023 and UPSC Mains Exam (GS Paper 2- Various policies and programs for human development and utilizing demographic dividend).
Recently, Lok Sabha Speaker, Shri Om Birla addressed the valedictory function of the 4th edition of National Youth Parliament Festival (NYPF) in the Central Hall of Parliament, New Delhi.
The 4th edition of National Youth Parliament Festival, 2023 was launched with the theme “Ideas for a Better tomorrow: India for the World”.
A total 85 people won the National Youth Parliament Festival 2023. Out of 85 national winners of National Youth Parliament Festival, 61 of are girls.
National Youth Parliament Festival is based on the idea given by the Prime Minister in his Mann Ki Baat Address on 31st December, 2017. The National Youth Parliament Festival (NYPF) is organized to hear the voice of the youth, who will join various careers in the coming years, including public services.
Till now, a total of four editions of the National Youth Parliament Festivals have been organized in India (including the NYPF 2023). A brief details about these youth parliament festivals are given below-
