Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO): The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) is a regional intergovernmental organization founded in Shanghai, China on June 15, 2001. The organization aims to promote cooperation on a wide range of issues including economic, political, and security matters among its member countries. The SCO’s main objectives are to enhance regional security, maintain stability, and facilitate economic development among its member states.
