Things to Remember in UPSC Prelims 2021- Five Must to Do Things Before You Enter in the Exam Hall

Things to Remember in UPSC Prelims 2021- UPSC Prelims 2021

UPSC Prelims 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on 10th October, 2021. Aspirants are gearing up for the final phase of the Prelims exam. This is the first and often the most important stage in the entire preparation of the UPSC Civil Services Examination.

In this context we are going to discuss five key elimination techniques which an aspirant can use in the examination hall to avoid negative marking and maximize the chances of qualifying the prelims examination.

Things to Remember in UPSC Prelims 2021- Five Must-Do Things Before You Enter in the Exam Hall

  1. Prepare Exam Kit- Things you need in the Examination Hall

    • Prepare a checklist of the things which you need to bring in the examination hall
    • Your checklist must include the following items-
      • Two-three black pens
      • Two copies of Admit Card
      • Identity Card (mentioned on the admit card)
      • Water bottle
      • Chocolates (known to reduce stress)

  1. Timely Reach at Your Exam Centre

    • Please reach your exam centre at least one hour before the schedule. UPSC also provide cut-off time before which you must enter in the examination centre premises.
    • Reaching early also gives you time to manage your anxiety and anxiousness well.

  1. Keep Calm and Believe in Yourself- Battle Half Won

    • Prelims Papers from the last 2-3 years show that you need to be calm and confident. Questions often need application of mind and knowledge.
    • To do that, you need to be confident and calm, only then you can think clearly and make the right choice in the examination hall.

  1. Don’t indulge in any stressful activity or unnecessary quarrel

    • To achieve the third point, you need to avoid any type of unnecessary stressing activity like arguing with your cab driver or for that matter invigilator.
    • Unnecessary quarrel will hamper your peace of mind as well as your chances of clearing prelims. So, avoid this at all costs.

  1. Don’t discuss the paper

    • Before GS Paper 1, don’t discuss things like whether the paper is going to be tough or easy, how many questions somebody else is attempting, etc.
    • Discussing these things with your fellow aspirants just before the exam will surely make you anxious and less confident. So, avoid this at all costs.
    • GS Paper (II) is also getting difficult every year. So, even after GS Paper 1, don’t discuss it, or cut-off. Utilize the time gap for revising math formulas and to relax your mind.

In the end, the Adda247 team wishes you all the very best for the prelims 2021 exam. Keep Calm and give your best. We truly believe that you are going to make it in the final list (holy PDF).

All the Very Best to All of You!!!!!!!!!!
