The UKPSC APS preliminary exam consists of a total of five tests. First, there is a typing test in both Hindi and English languages. After this, a computer test is conducted. UKPSC APS Mains Exam Pattern

The UKPSC APS Mains exam has a specific pattern where candidates are selected mainly on the basis of their performance in the Mains exam. It consists of two papers: The first paper is General Studies which consists of multiple choice questions from various subjects. 1/4 marks are deducted for each wrong answer, so accuracy is very important. The second paper is Essay and Drafting Test which requires candidates to write detailed answers presenting ideas clearly. Candidates are required to score at least 35% marks to pass the Essay and Drafting test. The aim of this setup is to thoroughly test the knowledge and writing skills of the candidates.
