Two papers – General Studies Paper I and II.
Conducted for 200 marks
Duration: 2 hours
Offline mode.
Both papers consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
There will be close to 150 to 100 questions in Paper 1.
Paper 2, on the other hand, is a qualifying paper. Candidates have to have a minimum of 33% to qualify for this paper.

UPPSC PCS Interview 2024

The personality test is the final step in the UPPSC PCS exam. The commission has allocated 100 marks to the personality test, making it a crucial factor in determining the final rank. This test focuses on current events and the Detailed Application Form (DAF) submitted during the main exam. The UPPSC conducts the personality test in Prayagraj, and the final results will be announced afterwards.

UPPSC Selection Process

The UPPSC Selection Process consists of three phases: the Preliminary Exam, the Main Exam, and the Personal Interview. Candidates must qualify in all phases to be selected for positions such as SDM, DSP, BDO, BSA, and others.

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective)
This screening test aims to filter out a large number of applicants. It consists of two objective-type papers, each worth 200 marks, totalling 400 marks.
Stage 2: Mains Examination (Written)
