UPSC CSE Prelims Exam 2024 Postponed: The Union Public Service Commission has released a notice regarding the Postponement of the UPSC Prelims Exam 2024. Earlier the UPSC Prelims Exam is scheduled for 26 May 2024. But now the commission has released a new exam date for UPSC Prelims Exam 2024.

UPSC Prelims Exam 2024 Notice

Due to the schedule of the impending General Election, The Union Public Service Commission has decided to postpone the civil services examination (Preliminary) 2024. The UPSC Prelims Exam 2024 which serves as a screening test for the Indian Forest Service examination has been postponed now from 26 May 2024 to 16 June 2024.

UPSC Prelims New Exam Date 2024

The Union Public Service Commission has issued a notification announcing the postponement of the UPSC Prelims Exam 2024. Initially scheduled for May 26, 2024, the exam date has been rescheduled due to the upcoming General Election. The new date for the UPSC Prelims Exam 2024, which also serves as the screening test for the Indian Forest Service examination, is now set for June 16, 2024.

UPSC Prelims Revised Exam Date

The Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) has postponed the Civil Services Preliminary Examination- 2024 which was scheduled to be held on May 26, 2024. The exam dates have been postponed because of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 which will take place on 25 May 2024. Due to this, many competitive exams have been conflicted along with the UPSC Prelims Exam. The official notice states that due to the impending General Election schedule, the Commission has opted to postpone the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination – 2024 from May 26, 2024, to June 16, 2024.

UPSC Prelims Admit Card Releasing Date

As you know,  the UPSC Prelims Exam date has been postponed from 26 May to 16 June 2024. The UPSC releases the admit card approximately three weeks before the exam date and it remains accessible until the exam day. So, the UPSC Prelims Admit Card is expected to be released at the end of May 2024. Candidates are required to download their admit cards from the official website. Candidates must check all the details provided in the UPSC admit card and promptly report any discrepancies found to the Union Public Service Commission.
