Let’s know about the Eligibility requirements for UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025:

• Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen. Also, belong to Nepal/Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee in India (since 1962), or an Indian origin person from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Vietnam, or East African countries.
• Education Qualification: Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.

• An experience of two years in Administration/Accounts/Legal Matters in any government or private organization (listed)
• Bachelor’s degree in Law
• Integrated Five-year Degree in Law
• Masters in Business Administration

• Cost and Management Accountant Diploma in Company Law or Labour Laws or Public Administration.
• Age Limit: Candidates must not cross the age limit of 30 years for EO/AO posts and 35 years for APFC posts. However, there is age relaxation as set by the government. They are as follows:

UPSC EPFO Selection Process 2025

The Selection Process for UPSC EPFO EO/AO and APFC posts is a two-stage recruitment process, where candidates have to go through a written examination followed by an interview round. Any changes will be updated in the official UPSC EPFO EO/AO and APFC Notification 2025.

UPSC EPFO Exam Pattern 2025

The Union Public Service Commission has set the UPSC EPFO EO/AO & APFC exam pattern 2025 which has two phases.

• Phase 1 is an offline exam test with 120 Objective type questions which lasts 2 hours and a of total 300 marks. Each question is of 2.5 marks, with a 1/3rd mark deducted for incorrect answers.
• Phase 2 is an interview which carries 100 marks.
• The minimum cut-off is 50 marks for General, 45 for OBC, and 40 for SC/ST/PH candidates.

UPSC EPFO Salary 2025

The pay scale of an EPFO Officer is at Level 8 as per the 7th pay commission, with a salary range of Rs 43600 to 55200. The pay scale becomes Rs 9300-34800. Under Pay Band 2, EO AO has an entry-level pay that is within a grade pay of Rs 4800, and for APSC the grade pay is 5400.
