World Food India 2023, First Inter-Ministerial Committee Meeting held
World Food India 2023: it is an event organized by Ministry of Food Processing Industries with the objective of introducing the world to rich Indian food culture as well as promoting investments in the diverse food processing sector of the country. World Food India 2023 is also important for UPSC Prelims Exam 2023 and UPSC Mains Exam (GS Paper 3- Various government initiatives for promoting different sectors of Indian Economy including Food Processing Industry).
Recently, the Curtain Raiser Event for World Food India 2023 (WFI-2023) took place at the National Media Centre in New Delhi. At the event, Shri Pashupati Kumar Paras, the Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, and Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, the Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti, unveiled the website, publicity brochure, and promotional video for World Food India 2023 (WFI-2023).
The first edition of World Food India was launched in 2017 with the objective of introducing the world to rich Indian food culture as well as promoting investments in the diverse food processing sector of the country.
