Recently, the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs hosted the Y 20 Pre Summit Meeting as part of the G20, which began with a sightseeing trip in and around Leh. The Y20 Pre Summit Meeting took place place from 26th to 28th April.

As part of its G20 Presidency, the Department of Youth Affairs within the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports of the Indian government is hosting the Youth 20 Summit in 2023.
The Youth20 (Y20) Engagement Group, which is an official Engagement Group of the G20, is leading discussions throughout India to seek input from the country’s youth regarding ideas for a brighter future and to develop an action plan.
Y20 serves as a platform for young people to share their perspectives and suggestions on G20 priorities.
