The CTET selection process primarily involves a written examination consisting of two papers. Paper I is for candidates aspiring to teach Classes I-V (Primary Stage), and Paper II is for those aiming to teach Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage). Candidates can choose to appear for either one or both papers depending on their eligibility and teaching preferences.
The exam is conducted in a multiple-choice format, with each paper comprising 150 questions, carrying one mark each. The CTET Off Marks 2025 for the OBC category/ SC category/ ST category is 55% marks. In other words, candidates belonging to the OBC category, SC category, and ST category must secure 82 marks out of a total of 150 marks to become CTET qualified.
