Steps To Fill Out the SSC CGL Application Form 2025

Candidates are required to follow these steps to apply online for the SSC CGL 2025. Below are the steps that one needs to follow for successful online registration for the exam:

Step 1- Click on the official link provided on this page.

Step 2- Click on the link of Apply Link given on the page. The registration link opens up in the new window.

Step 3- Click on New Registration in the SSC CGL 2025 application window and then click on the register button.

Step 4- First, candidates need to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email Id, mobile number, etc.

Step 5- Click on the submit button to submit your completed online form for SSC CGL. Verify your details before submitting the form.

Step 6- All the candidates are issued Registration ID for the SSC CGL exam.

Step 7- Candidates are supposed to log in with the provided Registration ID, date of birth, and password to complete SSC CGL Registration 2025.

Photograph

• The photograph must be clicked in front of a white colour or light-coloured background and must be more than 4 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The photograph resolution must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.

Signature

• The signature must be in black or blue ink on a white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The resolution should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.

SSC CGL Application Fee 2025

The required SSC CGL Application Fee is Rs 100 and there are No Fees to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-servicemen candidates for the SSC CGL Exam. 

Exemption: No fee must be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

• Applications fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. Challan form will be generated online.

• To pay a fee in cash, the candidate should take the printout of the challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI and then continue with the Part-2 registration.

• Those candidates who want to pay online can go directly to part-2 registration after completion of part-1 registration. Candidate must supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration.
