Preliminary Examination

  • Type: Objective (Multiple Choice Questions)
  • Total Marks: 450
  • Duration: 2 hours

Preliminary Examination:

Main Examination:

  1. General Knowledge: In-depth coverage of topics from the preliminary exam.
  2. Language: Tests proficiency in English and Hindi through essays, precis, and translations.
  3. Law-I (Substantive Law): Covers various substantive laws including contracts, partnership, torts, transfer of property, Hindu and Mohammedan laws, and constitutional law.
  4. Law-II (Procedure and Evidence): Focuses on procedural laws and the law of evidence.
  5. Law-III (Penal, Revenue, and Local Laws): Covers penal laws, revenue laws, and local laws specific to Uttar Pradesh.
