SSC CGL 2024 Exam Pattern (Tier I and Tier II)

This year, the Staff Selection Commission made some modifications to the SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024. As per revised Pattern, Tier-2 will be conducted in 3 Phases (Paper-1, Paper-2 and Paper-3)

SSC CGL Tier-I Exam Pattern: 

• Tier 1 will be objective-type and multiple-type questions.
• The questions will be available in both English and Hindi, except in English.
• Marking: 0.50 marks.

SSC CGL Tier-II Exam Pattern:

• Tier 2 consists of Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III in separate shifts or days.
• There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section I and Section II. For papers II and III, 0.50 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
